Last week's race of the Wellington Homing Pigeon Club was flown from Culverden, an air -line distance of 142 miles ; the winner covered the distance in 4 hours 18 minutes. Following are the results : — T. Bolton's 8.C.H., No. 115, 975 yards I per minute, 1; W. Geary's 8.C.C., No. I 264, 971.9 yards per minute, 2 ; P. W Lamb's Royalty, No. 340, 971.7 yards per minute, 3; A. Clark's 8.C.H., No. 50, 971.5 yards per minuto, 4 ; G. Wilson's 8.C.H., No. 315, 969 yards per minute, 5; J. Brace's 8.C.C., No. 270, 967 yards per minute, 6.
