Interest on Saturday, centred chiefly in the battle between United 1 and Xa T rorr, both of which, together with 'Var* sity, ( are fighting- for the premier position. Considering- tile, importance of- tie' match, ther game was nob by any means, brilliant, this being probably owing to tlra fact that the teams had been, greatly disorganised. The first, spell saw ail even contest,, but the second half was" disastrous- for United.
