IN PARLIAMENT GROUNDS
— . + THE LATE MR. SEDDON. The statue which is to be unveiled to* morrow in the Parliamentary grounds to perpetuate th© memory of the late Right Hon. R. J> Seddon la a very fine piece of workmanship, by the eminent sculptor, Sir Thomas Brock, who designed the Queen Victoria monument in front of Buckingham Palace, London, at the unveiling of which he was knighted by tho King. Ms. Seddon, in. the'' monument, is shown in a character* istic attitude. Tho unveiling eereinony takes plftpe tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. Tho public are invited to. bo present. The Mayor of Wellington, who is a. member of the executive of the Committee, will invite His Excellency to unveil the figure, and L<ord Liverpool will also deliver a speech, and will bft followed by the Prime Minister and Sir Joseph Ward.
