CHRISTCHURCH TRAMWAY BOARD.
RESULT OF ELECTIONS. («t TELEQfUPK— PRESS ASSOCIATION.) CHEISTCHUBCH; 24th June. The Tramway Board.' elections were held to-day, and resulted as follow: — City Sub-district 5 (four members). — Geo. T. Booth (Citizens' Association), C. M. Gray (Citizens' Association), H. Hunter (Social Democrat), E. M. Spiers (Social Democrat), W. H. Cooper, Dr. Thacker, T. H. Davey (Citizens' Association), A. S. Taylor (Citizens' Association), J. M'Cullough (Social Democrat), ID, G. Sullivan (Social Democrat), and G. E. Good were nominated, and ■ Messrs. Booth, Davey, Taylor, and Gray were elected. Linwood Sub-district (one member). — H. Pearse (sitting member) and J. M'Combs. M.P. (Social Democrat) were nominated, and Mr. Pearse was elected. Woolston-Sumner Sub-district (one member).— Hon. J: Barr (sitting -member) and J. J. Graham (Social Democrat) were nominated. Hon. J. . Barr .was elected. Riccarton-Sockburn Sub-district (one member). — J. Hanna, S. A. Staples (sitting member). J. Mawson Stewart (Citizens' Association), and T. J. ■Stokes (Social Democrat) were nominated. Mr. Staples was elected.
