TRADING WITH THE ENEMY
TO BE PROHIBITED IN CHINA. (Received June 25, 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, 24th June. Lord Robert Cecil, in the House of Commons, said that the Government had decided to prohibit trading with the enemy in China or other countries. He promised to enquire into a statement that certain London Banks were discounting enemy firms' bills at Hongkong.
