TRENTHAM CANDIDATE

The Sixth Reinforcement Band, from Trentham, was in town to-day playing 'selections throughout the main streets for the purpose of collecting for the camp oandidatc {No. 15). Wherever the band went people appeared anxious to givo money, and this is as it should be. This evening the band will be playing again, when it is hoped that the publio will help the candidate of the men who are defending the old "Red, White, and Blue." Next week it is expected that the Trentham Battalion Band will be in town on a similar errand. The members of the band had lunch at the V.M.C.A.
