LOOTING AT RABAUL
MORE CHARGES. MELBOURNE, 27th May. In the House, Mr. Anstey, referring to looting at Rabaul, flung further serious charges against officers. He described the recent court-martial as a premeditated farce, and alleged that not only robbery, but forgery, had been committed, and the great bulk of the loot came to Australia by the Berrina. An exhaustive enquiry was promised.
