WILL WAGE WAR TO ITS LAST BREATH (Received May 28, 8.30 a.m.) BUDAPEST, 27th May. Count Tisza (Prime Minister of Hungary), in the Chamber of Deputies, referring to- Italy's intervention, said that the Hungarian nation will wage war to its last breath against all the devils of hell, and force victory from Fate. Count Apponyi said that, while his party had not identified itself with the Government's policy, he declared that Italy had not the shadow of a, pretext for her procedure. ITALY'S REASONS FOR TREACHERY WANTED (Times and Sydney Sun Services.) (Received May 28, 8 a.m.) LONDON, 27th May. A German wireless message states that the nation disdainfully waits Italy's reasons for her treachery and blackmail. It is stated officially at Berlin that German property in Italy, including ships, has not been confiscated, but is preserved according to international law. The situation as a result is desperate, as Swiss are not available, owing to the mobilisation of tioops. The news of Italy's entry into the v/ar has delighted the British Army.
