PREMIERS' CONFERENCE
OPENS IN SYDNEY TO-DAY. (Received May 5. 9.35 a.m.) SYDNEY. This Day. The Premiers' Conference opens today. It will discuss a number of mv portant matters, including tho Victorian Government's proposal to extend tho\ Echuci railway a hundred miles through New South Wales territory to Moulumein. Tho carrying out of the scheme will mean the bringing of a large portion of the Riverina under Victorian jurisdiction.
