Results :—: — Ohiti Hurdles, of 100 soys: one mile and three-quarters. —Braeburn, 10.0. and King's Guard, 10.0, dead heat, 1; Golden Water. 3. Won by ten lengths. Time. 3min 22sec. A good race. All started. Juvenile Handicap, of 125 soys; five furlongs.—Three. 9.6, 1; Spain, 7.0, 2; Recorder, 8.4, 3. All started. Won by a length and a-half, a neck between second and third. Time, lmin 1 l-ssec. Okawa Hack Handicap, 100 soys; once round.—Cervulus, 8.5, 1; Whakahoki. 7.10, 2; Perhaps, 8.2, 3. Scratched— Gold Fran, Ramanuwhiri. Bodenham, Alces, Royal Tiger, Tragedienne, Miss Percy, and Heather Mixture. Won by two lengths. Time, lmin 50sec. Hawkes Bay Stakes, of 500 boys ; at furlongs and a half:—Desert Gold 1, Dribble 2, Croesus 3. Scratched : Tete-a-Tete, Allen Doone, Maltegarde. Dinner Gong, Asterias, Taringamutu, Gold Foil, Carillon, Down, Spain, and Finisterre. Won by two lengths, a length and a half between second and third. Time, lmin 21sec.
