CATHOLIC HALL AT THE CAMP
A large and comfortable hall has just been erected by the New Zealand Catholic Federation at Trentham, for the use of members of the Expeditionary Forces. The building, which is of the usual wood and iron type, is 75ft by 35ft in size, with a stage at one end, and is well lit and provided with seata, etc. It will be used for Divine service on Sundays and during the week as a lecture hall and for social purposes. Contributions towards the cost of the building have been received from the following : —Mr. Martin Kennedy, £50 } Wellington Diocesan Council, £40; Anonymous, £25; Mr. W. W. Charters, £5; Mr. Chas.
