CARGO STEAMER TORPEDOED
OFF BEACHY HEAD. (Received March 22, 2.10 p.m.) LONDON, 21st March. An eight thousand-ton cargo steamer was torpedoed off Beachy Head, on the South Coast of England, on Sunday afternoon. It is believed it was not sunk.
