In a race flown from Wanganui under the auspices of _ the Hutt Valley Homing Pigeon Society, the results were as follow :— Messrs. Whitehead and Booth's Milo (time 2hrs 41min 13sec, velocity 1011.868 yds per minute), 1 ; W. J. Smith's Morning (time 2hrs 41min 18sec, velocity 1007.584 yds per minute), 2; R. Booth's Ripple (2hrs 42min 32sec, velocity per minute), 3. The next race is from Hawera.
