THE TROOPS AT SAMOA
OFFICIAL REPORT. The following official message lvas been received from Colonel Logan at Samoa, dated 6th December :— "Health of troops good. Battery : Lieut. Forsyth, dysentery; Gunner T. Wilberfoss, septic leg. Auckland Regiment : Lieut. Tole, abscess; Private H. Davidson, cellulitis ; H. Harvey, injury knee. Railway Engineers : Sergt. M. Matheson, carbunclo ; Sapper F. Bdockliss. dysentery; Sapper E. W. Smyrk, abscess; Sapper S. Verrey, dengue ; Sapper R. G. Winter, bursitis; Corporal W. Willsteed, dengue. Wellington Regiment : Colonel Turner, simple fracture leg; Sergeant R. Cook, head injury; Lance-Corporal S. Foley, dysentery. Medical Corps : Private T. Dean, dengue; Private R. M'Millan, jaundice. All doing well."
