HUNTLY DISASTER
MINE MANAGER ARRESTED ON MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE. (IT TELIGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.) ■ HAMILTON, This Day. James Fletcher, manager of the Taupiri Coal Mines, Huntly, was arrested by Detective-Sergeant Cooney at Huntly today on a charge of manslaughter in connection with the recent disaster at the mine. He was brought before the Huntly Court and admitted to bail, himself in £150 and two sureties -of an equal amount. He was remanded to the 27th instant, at Huntly.
