The Incorporated Society of Meat Im. porters' SmithKold market quotations for the undermentioned classes of frozen moat are based on actual sales of not less than one hundred carcases of mutton or lamb, or twenty-five quarters of beef, 'Of fair average quality. The quotations are not for selected lines, but for parcels fairly representative of the bulk of the shipments now on the market. The prices which follow are on the average a farthing per lb more than the values ex ship, this difference representing tho average cost in expense, handling, conveyance, and selling of the meat': — New Zealand Lambs. — Canterbury, light, 6 11-16 d; second, light and medium, 6|d ; heavy, 6|d. South American Sheep.— Light, sjjd ; heavy. s^d. South American ewes, 5 5-16 d. South American. Lambs. — None offering. Argentine Chilled Beef. — Fores, s|d; hinds, 63d. Urugua-v Chilled Beef. — Fores, s|d; hinds. sad. Australian Beef. — Fores, s|d. Prices for other meats are unchanged. RABBITS. Rabbits firm ; unchanged ; Australians getting scarce.
