WHAT THE WAR IS COSTING
A PROFESSOR'S ESTIMATE*. LONDON, 50th October. Professor Julius Wolf, of Berlin, estimates that the armies in tho field are costing 7£ millions sterling daily. He declares that the waste in Germany durum the next three months must be reulconed at £350,000,000. It is safe to say that the conquered will have to pay an enormous bill.
