AUCTION AND PROPERTY SALES
Messrs. Gualter, Dykes and Co. have received instructions from the Wellington Harbour Board to 'sell a number of unclaimed goods, on Wednesday afternoon, 25th November, at 1 o'clock. The sale will take place on the middle floor of the P store building, Queen's Wharf. Messrs. Harcourt and Co. announce an auction sale of jewellery, etc., to take place at their rooms, 195, Lambtonquay, on Monday and Tuesday next, commencing at 1.30 p.m. each day. Messrs. J. H. Bethune and Co. will sell on Friday next at 1 p.m., at the residence, No. 40, Raroa-road, Kelburn, in the eotate of the late James Sloan, household furniture and appointments. On tho same day at 2.30 p.m., also on the premises, they are submitting the above freehold property, comprising freehold land with a frontage of 52ft 6in to Raroa-road by a depth varying from 134 feet to 167 feet, with the newly-built residence of six rooms thereon. At 11 a.m. on Monday Messrs. C. W. Price and Co. will sell the household furniture and effects on the premises No. 11, Adelaide^road ; and on Tuesday, at 1.30 p.m., over 500 lots secondhand furniture, at the mart, 60, Lamb-ton-quay. On Monday next at 11, at the Fruit Exchange, Blair-street, Thompson Bros., Ltd., will sell on behalf of the Union y.S. Company and other clients a quantity of unclaimed goods, general merchandise, and a consignment of slightly damaged confectionery. Messrs. Townsend and Paul, Ltd., will sell at auction on Wednesday at 2 o'clock, a quantity of furniture. Messrs. E. Johnston and Co. will hold a sale of household furniture, including fine upright grand piano, at the residence, No. 26, Sussex-street (Basin Reserve), on Tuesday, commencing at 1.30. On Wednesday they will hold an extensive sale of household furniture in their rooms, 157, Lambton-quay, commencing at 1.30 o'clock. Messrs. Blake and Go. 'will 3ell on Monday at 1.45 at their mart, 53, Cubastreet, manufacturers' samples of leather and fancy goods ; and on Tuesday 12-roomed house of furniture at 6, Harbour-view, off Boulcott-street. Messrs. J. H. Bethune and Co. will sell on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the residence, No. 162, Clyde-quay, under instructions from Mr. H. Davidson, who is leaving for England, household furniture and appointments. The furniture will be on view from 11 o'clock on morning of sale. The firm also insert an amended list of business and residential properties which they have on their books for private sale, alao a number of houses to let, both furnished and unfurnished, offices, and storeroom accom : modation. Messrs. Thompson, Brown., and East, Ltd., 174 Featherston -street, advertise a listo f house and other properties for sale. A list of city and suburban residential properties and building sites are offered for salo in this issue my Messrs. Miller and Butter, agents, 35, Panama-street.
