SAD FATALITY

CHILD CRUSHED UNDER CART. (»I TEbESIUFK.— rKBSS ASSOCIATION.) MARTON, 50th October. A distressing fatal accident occurred at Marton this afternoon. Rita Evelyn, youngest daughter of W. H. Panckhurst, aged two years and nine months, was knocked down by a trap driven by her father, a wheel going over her body. The child never regained consciousness, and died an hour afterwards. At the inquest a verdict of death from shock and abdominal injuries was returned.
