HIS DARING AT THE MARNB. (Received October 30, 8.30 a.m.) LONDON, 29th October. Corporal Jolley, of the King's Royal Rifles, narrates that during the retreat from Mons the Germans attempted to blow up the Marne Bridge. The Royal Rifles Regiment was ordered to recapture it, and Prince Maurice of Battenberg was the first man to cross the bridge. The Prince daringly searched a house on the other side alone.
