Offers from Americans wishing to jojn the Canadian contingent have been received in hundreds by the Canadian Militia Department. Ottawa reports that a man from Texas wants to/ bring five thousand Texans, all of British descent, who are at border recruiting stations. Half the recruits are Americans. So many me"h have been secured that probably it will now be a qxiestion of selection.
