MESSAGES RECEIVED BY THE * PRIME MINISTER. LONDON, 25th October. Official.— Professor Pariset, authorised correspondent at Russian Headquarters, furnishes a report on observations in Austrian territory conquered by the Russians. _ He states that the Russians are extending a broad-gauge railway into Galicia, and also connecting with Austrian lines. Many Austrian wounded have expressed surprise at their treatment and at the satisfactory arrangements for dealing with all the wounded. The towns are quiet under the new rule. Only limited damage was done by the artillery. The general position %i 3% i 3 a credit to the Russians, and gives ample proof of their .close kinship with the great majority of the conquered population. ' The latest reports from Paris indicate that continuous violent fighting has occurred from the coast to the south of Arras. All the enemy's attacks were repulsed. The Russians are pursuing the enemy beyond the Vistula. Brilliant bayopet charges in the forests of Radom resulted in the capture of machine guns and prisoners. At Voeg. near Stryi, the enemy was dispersed and 1000 prisoners taken.
