CHRISTCHURCH, 14th October. 1 At Addingfcon to-day the entry of fat cattle was rather smaller than last Week, [ but there were larger entries of sheep, [ especially of fats. Fat cattle were rather easier, fat lambs were firmer, and Btore sheep were not in such good demand. Fat sheep declined 33 per head. Fat piga were' rather weaker. Store Sheep.— Woolly sheep, best hog' gets, 14s lid to 15s 6d ; fairly good, 12s 6d ; very medium, 10s 7d to 11s 9d ; small, 9s to 9s fid } good ewe hoggets, 8s 7d to 19s; medium, to 15s 3d; six and eight-tooth ewes, with lambs (unshorn), 13s to 14s 2d; aged ewes, with lambs, 10s Id (all counted) ; aged dry ewes, 7s to 8s 6d ; four and six-tooth wethers, 20s 2d; merino wethers, very forward, 14s 6d. Shorn sheep — Good ewe hoggets, 14s 9d ; mixed ewe hoggets (small), 8s 6d; four-tooth wethers (very forward), 18s 3d ; two and four-tooth wethers, 11s sd. Fat Lambs ranged from 18s to 235, most ,of the lambs going over 20s. Fat Sheep.— Extra prime wethers, to 365; prime, 24s to 30s; others, 19s 7d to 23s 6d ; shorn, 18s to 225 ; prime ewes, 22s to 30s ; others, 17s 6d to 21s 6d ; shorn ewes, 17s lid to 20s 3d ; hoggets, 16s 9d to 23s 3d ; merino wethers, 18s 6d to 22s 6d ; merino ewes> 14s. Fat Cattle.— Ordinary steers, £7 15s to £11 10s; extra, to £22; ordinary heifers, \£6 5s to £8 10s; extra, to £13 7s 6d ; ordinary cows, £5 15s to £8 10s ; extra, to sBI3 10s. Price of beef per 1001b, 35s to 455. Store Cattle.— Yearlings, £1 16s; -fifteen to eighteen-months sorts, £2 10s to £3 ; two-year steers (very goodj, £3 10s !to £4 10s ; two-year heifers, £3 15s to 1 £3 17s 6d; three-year steers, £6 ss; three-year heifers, £6 ; dry cows, £1 11s to £4 17a 6d ; dairy cows, £3 15s to £9 10s. Fat Pigs.— Choppers, /70s to, 100s; extra heavy baconers, to 775 ; heavy baconers, 65s to 725 ; ordinary baconers, 52s 6d to 63s 6d ; price per Ib, sd. HeaAry porkers, 44s to 475 ; ordinary porkers, 36s to 425 ; price per lb, 6d to 6|d. Large stores, 38s to 41s ; medium stores, 27s to 365; small stores, 18s to 255 ; weaners, 9s 6d (for 1 small) to 18s.
