CONCERT AT THORNDON
Tho annual concert given by the lady members of the Thorndon Mutual Improvement Society was held last evening in the Sydney-street Methodist Schoolroom. The contributors to the vocal part of the programme were Misses Watlrins, Currie, J. Nicholas, Fontanne, and Florence. Miss Ferguson played a violin solo, and blisses Clarke and Nicholas a pianoforte duet. Miss F. Dix gave a recitation and Miss Dix a musical monologue, and an exhibition of club swinging, was given by Miss Harrison (gold medallist).
