WARM WEATHER
To-day was a foretaste of summer. Rain is badly needed, but its not promised. Instead, the official forecast suggests fair to cloudy warm •weather, with increasing haze and cloudiness in the West Coast and southernmost districts ; with rough seas on the western coast and in Foveaux Straits, and rough between Kaikoura and Castle Point.
