HARRIERS

Thu Brooklyn Harriers held an invitation lun from Newtown on Saturday. The paper was dispensed with, and the pack, under the control of R. Harvey, left Hansen-street via the paddocks for Vogeltown. When Vogeltown was reached the pack made for the Happy Valley Road, which was followed for a couple of miles. Then a turn was made lor the hills overlooking Island Bay. The return journey was across the paddocks on the south-west side of the Island Bay-road and Berhampore back to the starting place. About 600 yards from home the pack was called to a halt, and the usual handicap run in was held, which resulted as follows: — R. Waters, 1, S. Waters, 2; G. Hutton, 3.
