(BT TELEGRAPH— SPECIAL TO TUB POST.) FEATHERSTON, Thi» Day. A vigorous campaign has commenced in the interests of the- Liberal Party. Mr. Russell is definitely announced to speak at Greytown on the 10th, and Mr. Wilford is expected here shortly. It is generally expected that Mr. J. T. M. Hornsby, exM.P., will again contest the seat against Sir Walter Buchanan, M.P. Ever since 1896 tho gentlemaln named have led the respective partieß. Mr. Hornsby was twice successful. Tho Farmers' Union arranged for Mr. Prunmei", the Government Veterinarian, to give a demonstration at tho farm of Mr. H. Daysh ait Dyervillo on Monday afternoon. There was a largo attendance of farmers, who very much appreciated the practical lecture given. by tho veterinarian. A number of questions wero asked and answered. Tho farmi%3 present asked for a similar demonstration to bo given in Featherston next month.
