FEDERAL COMMISSIONER'S REPORT v LARGE SALES. (By Telegraph-Press Association.— Coprrlglit^ 1 (Received June 27, 9 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The Federal Land Tax Commissioner's report shows that the tax in 191243 realised £1,316,735. Large land sales continue. During the year they totalled in value £11,989/627, an increase of over a million pounds. The Commissioner points out that while persons owning large t&xable estates continue to sell, persons in the lower taxable field continue to purchase freely, notwithstanding the tax.
