N > A violent earthquake shock, the origin of which is supposed to be Central America, has been experienced. Modeiate shocks are reported from Galicia and Northern Hungary. (Press Association.) IN ALASKA. CONSIDER ABLiTdAM AGE DONE. NEW YORK, 29th May. From Fairbank, Alaska, it is reported that a severe earthquake shock occurred in the vicinity of the city, doing considerable damage. [L is not known yet if lives have been lost.
