SOCIAL DEMOCRATS

"Individualism Under Social Democracy" was the subject of an address delivered under the auspices of the Social Democratic Party by the Rev. C. H. Chapell. 8.A., in the People's Picture Palace last evening in the presence ot a large audience. The lecturer advocated a re-arrangement of society on a basis which he contended would enable individuals to lead a freer life and at the same time pay more regard to uprightness than was possible under the conditions at present existing. Selections were played during the evening by the Waterside Workers' Band.
