Lee, chairman of the Education Hoard, referred briefly to these a4lega' tions yesterday. " I paid a visit to tho school, just to see how mattere really wore," he said, "although, you know, 1 do not take inudi notice of outsid« criticism. Well, I found that it Was absurd to say that the school was dirty and insanitary and quite unfit for tho purpos< it is put to. An a school, tho building ia excellent. It ig subetantial and very satisfactory in, ©very way. Afc to K« being insanitary : I went carefully into tho matter and found that lysol waft usasl frequently, and this accounted for th* dirty, stained look of the floors. In one room I found the light to be bad, but this i» being attended to. The principal complaint* made were regarding two ais. used classrooms."
