ALLEGED CUSTOMS FRAUDS
— CHRISTCHURCH CASES. (BY TKI/iORAPH.-- PRESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH, 22nd May. The trial of James Edward Rundle on charges involving the theft of money from Messrs. Barlow Bros, in connection with Customs transactions was continued before Mr. Justice Denniston to-day. The charges wore that, at Christchurcn, on 26th April, 1912, he did steal £37 16s, the property of Barlow Bros. ; that on 25th May, 1912, he did steal £59 17s, also the proptrey of Barlow Bros. ; that on 6th December, 1912, he did steal the sum of £17 10s, the pioperty of Barlow Bros. The case was unfinished when the Court adjourned.
