NEW ZEALAND'S SCENERY AMERICAN TRADE COMMISSIONERS' OPINION COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY, (By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright,) (Received May 20, 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The American Trade Commissioners consider New Zealand mostly fitted as a tourist resort, on account of its magnificent scenery. The high price of land will be a stumbling block to an active immigration policy. Inv, regard to New Zealand's commercial activity, the factories of the Sunshine Harvester and the Gear Meat Company, Wellington, were a revelation. Regarding the American Beef Trust, the Commissioners expressed the opinion that a higher price for meat would be better for Australia and New Zealand as producers. The man who invented the refrigerator was the greatest benefactor tfhose countries ever had.
