(BT TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WANGANUI, This Day. It was fine this morning, and some good work was done on the tracks. Goldsize ran a fast mile pleasingly. New York beat Grey Guard over six furlongs, running tha last five in lmin. 4 2-oeec' Gondolier and St. Gate galloped a mile on tho flat in lmin SOeec. Bercola, Riro Atu, and Silver Monarch went twice over the fences, jumping well. Karimoi and Morihiko went a couple of rounds of the fences, jumping nicely. Cornelian appeared to better advantage than Aruake over the hurdles— two rounds. Gladiole beat Kurapai and Fidesssa easily over six furlongs in lmin 19sec. Lady Elgiva and John Willie went six furlongs in lmin 20spc, Master Lupin covered seven in lmin 34sec, Spalfish five in lmin 3isec, aaid Square Deal seven in lmin 34sec. Arrivals include The Spaniard, Byron, Adroit, Red Book, Settler, and Espartero.
