CLERGYMAN VICTIMISED
A PLAUSIBLE ROGUE. (BY TELEGRAPH— PKESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Herbert Walter M'Crea Bull, aged 29 yearsj was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence on two charges of forgery during the last three months. Bull victimised a number of clergymen by obtaining money to pay a railway fare to secure mythical employment in tho country, telling a pitiful story of distress. Be admitted twelve charges of thus obtaining money by false pretences and two charges of forgery of letters to support his story.
