MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. At the meeting of the Management Committee of the Wellington Football Association last night Mr. A. E. Wells presided A letter was received from the secretary of the -Brooklyn United Club stating that, on account of its inability to obtain players, it has been decided to withdraw from the senior contest. It was announced that seven teama are likely to take part- in the Wednesday competitions this year. With the object of discussing arrangements, it was decided that a public meeting be held on Wednesday next. Mr. J. B. Paton sent in his resignation as a member of the New Zealand Fpotball^ Association. The resignation was received, and Mr. R. Y. Walls was elected to fill the vacancy. On account of the^ daylight Cadet parade on the next two Saturdays, it was decided to postpone fourth and fifth division matches on those dates. The proposed amendments to the Brown Shield rules, t& be considered at a special meeting on Ist June, were received, 'and the .^Association's delegates wero instructed :^o'. support them. Some discussidn''tboK place regarding the New Zealand Council's disqualification of T. Crouch, of the Corinthians Club, and it was decided to protest against the council's action and to ask it to reopen the case.
