GENERAL HAMILTON'S VISIT
COMING INSPECTIONS. The arrangements for General lan Hamilton'^ inspection of the New Zealand Defence Forces have now been completed. ' Tho General will commence his tour at Invercargill on the 27th inst.. and will work his way up as far as Auckland inspecting the troops, after which he will return to the South Island, making liis final inspection at Blenheim on 27th May. Following are the dates and times fixed for the General's inspections in the Wellington military district:-— Tuesday, sth May, 3 p.m., Taka pau, Wellington troops in camp, Wednesday, 6th May, 10 a.m., Takapau, Wellington troops in field operations. x Saturday, 16th May, 3 p.m., Hastings, Ilawkes Bay padets. Monday, 18th May, 2.30 p.m., Pai- 1 merston North, Manawatu Cadets. Tuesday, 19th May. 2. 3D p.m., Waligauui, Wanganui Cadets. Wednesday, 20th May, 2.3 C p.m., New Plymouth, Taranaki Cadets. Friday, 22nd May, 10 a.m., Wellington. Wellington Garrison Artillery and Garrison Artillery shooting. > Saturday, 23rd May, 2.30 p.m., Wellington, Wellington Cadets. Monday, 25th May, 2.30 p.m., Masterton, Wairarapa Cadets.
