HOCKEY
METROPOLITAN CLUB'S ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of tho Metropolitan Hockey Club was held last evening. Mr. R. A. Marshall presided. Seventeen new members were elected. On the chairman's motion, the annual report and balance-sheet were adopted. The former congratulated members of the senior team on last year's performances, and expressed regret at the fact that the club was so handicapped in not being able to put tho same team in the field each Saturday. The financial position was satisfactory. It was decided to enter senior and junior tcama this year. • The matter of arranging a match at Easter was left in the bunds of tho committee. Ofliccis wore elected as follow: — President, Mi. 11. E. Nicholls ; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. L. Cain and J. C. Cnsnek ; Kccietarv and treasurer. Mr. R. Marshal! : dub captain. Mr. A.
