The filial game between Harbour ! •Board and Thorudon was continued on j the College Ground on Saturday. Thorndon, who had lost one wicket for 20 the previous week, continued their first innings; When play ceased for the da,y, they had eight wickete down for 261 (Martin 110, Buck' 3l, Salmon 23, Sta- • pies ' 26). For Harbour Board Ryan took three wickets foi 76, O'Brien three for 38, Dtimbleton two for 50. Lower Hutt was beaten by Victoria College 1 by an innings and 44 runs. Scores j— College, 263 (Broad 20, Ward 16. Salmon 44, Castle 62, O'Shea 49, JBrice 33); Hutt, 117 (Baumber 27, ■M'Caw .not out 21, Auld 15. Mattingly HO) and 102 (Baumber 12 Auld 21, Neaoor 10, and Balks 33 not out). Stars easily defeated St. Annes, scoring 334 in the first innings and 13 fat* no wickets in the second. The chief scorers were :— Christopherson 183, M'Leod 51, Walden 27, Leggatt 39 not out. St. Anne's got 152 and 194 (Foote 23 and 19, Rouse 40 and 9, Gcilvin 14 and 34, not out), Sehrader 27 and 16, Lennorf 16 and 22 .not out. Teams representing Dalgety and Co. and A. S- Paterson arid Co. tried conclusions 4at Anderson Park, the former wimiing hy an innings and 49 runs. An eight-a-eide match between Wb.it>
combe and Tombs and East third resulted in a win for the former by 130 to 89.
