LEVIN, This Day. Mr. Robertson, M.P. for the Otaki electorate, addressed a crowded meeting at Levin last night. He strongly condemned the Massey Government for supineness in the early stages of the watersiders' strike and failure to carry out its promise to reduce taxation. The taxation ot New Zealand now was greater per head than ever before, and the Massey Government stood up a hideous failure befure the eyes of the whole country A vote of thanks and confidence was carried, an amendment of thanks only being outvoied.
