GERMAN RACE SUICIDE.
Speaking before the Commission of the Reichstag on an amendment with a view to preventing tfte advertising for sale of certain appliances, the Government Commissioner has declared that the advertisement of suc\i things in Germany had become a public Fcandal. It was notorious, he declared, that a systematically developed > trade existed with the object of promoting the suicide of the nation. Lecturing before the German Students' Association on the decline of the birthrate, the Medical Privy Councillor Krohne, a high official of the Ministry of the Interior, said 'that the birthrate in Germany would in tpn or twelve years have reached the same point as the French rate if the present decline continued.
