STEFANSSON'S PARTY
SEARCH SHIPS BEING SENT OUT. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright.) t (Received, March 25, 1.15 p.m.) SAN FRANCISCO, 24th March. The Canadian Government chartered the whaler Herman Heae to search for the whereabouts of the Stefansson party in the Arctic. Captain Pederson, leader of the eearch party, believes that the Karluk was lost in the ice north of Point Barrow.
