THEOSOPHICAL LECTURE
An interesting lecture was delivered by Mi« 3 Chridtie at thf Tlieosophical Society's Hall on Sunday evening on "Tho Masters and The Way to Them." The lecturer explained the place of the .Master in evolution, and stated that His work in the world was to execute the will of God ;md to serve as a Jink between man and superman. Since its inception mankind had never been without these Divino teachers and ruWs, who in the earlier races cam* over from an older humanity to guide this towards its goal of perfection. Wo were now in the fifth rool-iaee of this world, and some from our own humanity had reached the stage of masterhood or perfection, and, renouncing Nirvana, remained to work for us. Most of their work in the outer world was don© t!i rough their disciples, who a-cted as outposts of their consciousness. They influenced a. man through his ego or higher mind, and tTie way to them wa-s through intense devotion and purity of life, and always wben the pupil was ready the blaster was found.
