DEATH OF A MAORI WAR VETERAN
(IT mtORAPH— PR2IS mOCHTIOH.) WANOANUI. This Day, Mr. H. J. Turner, a well known and highly respected citizen, died suddenly this morning, aged 65. Deceased had been 45 years in the Dominion, and took part in tho Maori War. Tie had resided at Wanganui for fifteen years, and latterly was in the cycle business. Some years ago ho took an active pqrt in public nlTairs.
