SUDDEN DEATHS

Two old men died suddenly at the Ohiro Old Men's Home last nignt. Jajaes Bevan, over eighty year* of age, an old-age pensioner, who was brought from the Upper Hutt by Constable Mahony on Thursday, wa* restless during the night, and on going outeido feu down. One of the inmates who heard him followed soon afterwards and found the old man dead. Henry Pike, aged sixty-three years, who was admitted to tho Home in July last, vrenfc to bed as usual last night, and died quietly in his sleep. An inquest was held this mornng by Mr. W. G. Riddell, S.M., Coroner, who returned a verdict of "Died from heart failure" in both cases.
