Wilson wae tried at 150, 'but play continued slow but • safe, Armstrong: taking no risks with Wilson's leg-breaks and Sims leaving Oarlton's offtheory severely alone. Hickmott replaced Wilson at 180. At luncheon the score was 195 for nix wickets — Sims 43, Armstrong 28; extras 21.
