Matarawa Hack Handicap, six furlong. — Historiette, 8.1, 1; Lubriline, 8.13, 2; Firing Line, 7.5, 3. All started. Won by a length, a neck between second and third. Time, lmin 15sec. Jackson Stakes, six furlongs ; weight-for-age. — Emperador 1, Kencontre 2, Gladiole 3. All started. Won by half a length, half a length between second and third. Time, lmin 14 4-ssec.
