. A sheep farm of 6000 acre* is advertised by Messrs. Hiorns and Co., estate and financial agents, Wanganui. In our advertising columns to-day appears an advertisement announcing that the whole of the unsold land owned by the Wellington Steam Ferries Company, Ltd., will be offered for saJe by public auction by Messrs. Wm. H. Turnbull and Co. early in March. This land includes tiie 620 acres of native bush which the Government and the City Council were asked to assist in purchasing for a national seonic reserve. Plans of the sections are now being prepared, and will be availably in a few days. The terms of sale are 10 per cent, deposit, with 5 per cent, in three, six, nine, and twelve months, balance in live years from date of purchase. Messrs. Wm. • H.
