THE DUKE OF CONNAUGHT NEARLY RUN OVER BY A TRAIN. (By Telegraph.— Press Assoelatlon.-Copj right.) (Received February 3, 11 a.m.) TORONTO, 2nd February. While crossing the track at the railway statioh the Duke of Connaught, Governor-General of Canada, narrowly escaped being run down by a passing train. The driver saw the Duke in time, and hastily jammed on the brakes, the engine being pulled Up within six inches of the Duke. Sir Henry Pellatt was with the Duke, who was quite cool after the occurrence.
