DISAGREEMENT OVER NORFOLK ISLAND BILL. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The House disagreed with the Senate's amendments in the Norfolk Island Bill providing that all members* of the Executive Council shall bo chogeu by adult islanders, and that no Crown lands in the future be sold except in fulfilment of previous contracts. Both Houses have passed Supply. COMMITTEE'S REPORT ON CORRUPT PRACTICES. MELBOURNE, 16th December. The report of the Seriate Committee, which enquired into allegations of corrupt practices ,-t the last Federal elections lias been presented. The Committee is satisfied there was no evidence to, sustain the charges. No witness was able to say he had personal information of unlawful practices. The evidence disclosed that there were remarkably few irregularities, considering the la k rge increase in the number of voters.
